7. Repair your silks and update your quilt history!Remember that most silk ties are lined with non-silk materials so salvage carefully. Also, be aware that you are changing the history of your quilt and you need to keep track of this. A final note of warning: most ties are cut on a bias which may make them hard to use in some patch repairs and/or quilt making. Just have fun!
